When you start a new project with MagicSite, the process always begins with an interactive chat: here you provide the necessary information (type of website, goals, style, etc.) that the AI will use to generate the site.


Sometimes you may not be able or may not want to complete the chat right away, or on the contrary, you might want to start over with a new project. In this guide, we will look at the two available options:


Resume an interrupted chat

If you stopped the chat before reaching the actual website generation, WebSite X5 allows you to resume it later:

  • In the MagicSite start screen, in addition to the Start Chat button, you will also find the Resume Chat command.
  • Select this option: you will return to the suspended conversation and can continue from where you left off.


Resuming a chat is useful if you want to complete the website generation later, without having to re-enter the information already provided.


#tip - An interrupted chat is stored for up to 30 days. After this period, it is automatically deleted.


Start a new chat

If you have already generated a website with MagicSite or if you prefer to start from scratch, you can start a new chat:

  • Click Start Chat.
  • If an interrupted chat exists, confirming that you do not wish to reopen it will delete it permanently, and it will no longer be available.


A new chat session allows you to provide different or more detailed information to obtain a project that better suits your needs.


Note on the generated project

Remember that:

  • Once the generation is complete, the project can no longer be reopened in MagicSite to be “regenerated”.
  • You can still open it in WebSite X5 and freely modify any part of it.
  • If the result does not meet your expectations, you can start a new chat and create a new project from scratch.
