You will then get more visibility, more clicks, more traffic and therefore a higher sales probability.

E-commerce and structured data

There are many structured data which are related to the e-commerce. The most useful are:

  • Product - which enrich the snippet with additional details about the product, such as price, availability, renews and offers.
  • Breadcrumb - which display the position of a product page within the website structure,  reporting its possible categories and sub-categories as well.
  • Carousel - which display the product list in a carousel form, so to highlight them on the SERP. 
  • Search Box - which report a search bar on the website. They're particularly useful for online shops with many products.

In WebSite X5

In WebSite X5, the Product structured data are used for every product added in the online shop. You simply need to go to Step 1 - Website Settings > SEO > Structured data and  activate the Add Structured Data option. All the necessary data take on the information reported for the product details you defined when setting uo your e-commerce. 

The Carousel structured data, on the other hand, are used for the product Search page and for the pages where a Product Catalog Object has been added.
