How does MagicSite generate a website?

MagicSite is based on OpenAI’s machine learning models. It has been trained using public data available on the Internet. In practice, it uses this data along with the information collected through the initial chat to predict and generate the requested website. Naturally, the more specific your input, the better the final result will be.

#tip - Follow our tips on How to get the most out of the MagicSite chat.

Can I regenerate a project if I’m not satisfied with the result?

Once generated, the project cannot be reopened in MagicSite to be edited with AI, but you can always open it in WebSite X5 and customize it freely.

You can, however, start a new project, begin a new MagicSite session, and start from scratch. In this case, by providing more detailed answers, you’ll be able to get a result closer to your expectations.

#tip - For more information, see also Resume or start a new chat.

How many project generations can I create with MagicSite?

Each new website creation with MagicSite uses one generation.

WebSite X5 includes a number of free generations depending on the edition:

  • Evo: 2 generations
  • Pro: 3 generations
  • Agency: 5 generations

The trial version also offers 2 free generations.

Interrupted generations can be resumed later without consuming new ones.

Once all included generations are used up, you can purchase additional ones using WebSite X5 Credits.

Which languages does MagicSite support?

By default, MagicSite uses the language set in WebSite X5 under the Preferences window. If you don’t specify anything during the chat, the website will be generated in that language.

During the chat, however, you can write in another language and/or explicitly ask that the project be generated in your preferred language. MagicSite is able to support dozens of languages, from the most common to the less widespread ones, including some regional and dialectal languages.

Does MagicSite replace MagicText?

No. MagicSite and MagicText are complementary tools:

  • MagicSite creates the complete project (structure, texts, images, template).
  • MagicText helps you refine your texts: shorten them, rewrite them, translate them, or optimize them for SEO.

What happens if MagicSite uses Premium Objects or Images?

While generating a website, MagicSite uses all the tools and resources provided by WebSite X5, including Optional Objects and Premium Images:

  • Premium Images: drafts with a watermark are inserted into the project. You can choose whether to purchase them or replace them with free images or ones uploaded from your computer.
  • Free Optional Objects: these are used freely and, if not yet installed, are automatically downloaded during generation.
  • Paid Optional Objects: these are used only if they have already been purchased; otherwise, MagicSite sets up the page with alternative Objects.

How is MagicSite usage moderated to ensure safe use?

MagicSite is designed to help you create your website. Do not use it to generate harmful content that violates the rights of others, and always check the accuracy of all generated content.

Remember that all requests you make to MagicSite are automatically moderated, and if they are deemed inappropriate, they will not be processed.

Who owns the copyright of the content generated by MagicSite?

The debate around copyright for AI-generated content is still ongoing, so giving a definitive answer to this question is not easy. Moreover, the situation may vary depending on the country you live in.

In general, however, you are the owner of what you generate with MagicSite (provided that you comply with the terms of use), and you are free to use it for both personal and commercial projects.

How is my data used?

MagicSite is active only if you choose to use the feature. When you do, MagicSite processes the instructions you send, also based on the project you are developing.

MagicSite is based on OpenAI’s models: read the data usage policies. Using the service implies acceptance of the Terms of Use.
