If you want to accept online payments through Banca Sella's payment gateway, WebSite X5 directly integrates Fabrick Payment, the solution based on the Fabrick Payment Orchestra platform developed by Fabrick, a company of the Sella Group specializing in digital payment services.


Once the service has been activated and you have received the required credentials, you can configure it in your online store and allow customers to complete their purchases through a secure payment page managed directly by Fabrick.

1. How Fabrick Payment works

When a customer selects Fabrick Payment during checkout, the purchase process works as follows:

  1. they add products to the shopping cart;
  2. they confirm the order and select Fabrick Payment as the payment method;
  3. they are redirected to a secure payment page managed directly by Fabrick;
  4. they enter the required information and complete the transaction;
  5. once the payment has been completed, they are automatically redirected back to your website, where they can view the order confirmation page.


This workflow allows payments to be processed through the provider's infrastructure without the e-commerce website having to handle card data directly.


2. How to activate the service with Banca Sella

Before you can configure Fabrick Payment in WebSite X5, you must activate Banca Sella's e-commerce service, which includes access to the Fabrick Payment Orchestra gateway.


The service can be activated:

  • online through the channels provided by Banca Sella;
  • at a Banca Sella branch;
  • through your account manager.


Once the activation process is complete, you will receive the credentials required to configure the gateway in your project.

3. How to configure Fabrick Payment in WebSite X5

To add Fabrick Payment to your store's payment methods:

  • Go to Step 1 - Settings.
  • Open the E-commerce section.
  • Go to Order Management.
  • Click Add to create a new payment method.
  • In the Type section, select Immediate payment.
  • Choose Fabrick Payment from the available payment providers.


Then enter the credentials provided by Banca Sella:

  • ShopLogin, the identifier assigned to your merchant account;
  • ApiKey, the key used to authenticate requests sent to the payment gateway.


Complete any additional settings required by your project and confirm the changes.

4. Transaction security

Fabrick Payment uses a payment page hosted directly on its own infrastructure.


As a result:

  • card details are entered exclusively within Fabrick's secure environment;
  • your website does not store or process sensitive payment information directly;
  • transactions are handled according to the platform's security standards, including the authentication protocols required by European regulations and PCI DSS standards.

  • perform at least one test payment to verify that everything works correctly;
  • store your ShopLogin and ApiKey credentials securely;
