When creating a web page, every detail contributes to making the design more appealing. With the Waves Separator Optional Object, you can add dynamic separators that combine aesthetics and motion, turning transitions between sections into distinctive visual elements.
Unlike static separators, Waves Separator uses smooth animations that simulate the movement of waves. You can customize every detail, choosing colors, thickness, line styles, frequency, and speed. Thanks to these options, you can create a unique visual experience that enhances your website and guides the user with elegance and style. Check out the Preview page to see how to turn a simple separator into a dynamic element that grabs attention.
Here's how to work effectively with the Waves Separator Object:
- In Step 4 - Page Creation, insert the Waves Separator Object between the two contents where you want to manage the vertical space.
- Double-click the inserted Waves Separator Object to open the settings window.
- Start by defining some general parameters such as the overall Height of the separator, its Color, and the Number of lines. With this last setting, you can decide how many lines should be drawn to make up the animated separator. You can also set the Offset between them and, through the Line Type, choose whether the line should be solid, dotted, or dashed.
- Then define the Style to be applied to the animation by selecting one of the predefined options from the drop-down menu.
- You can further customize the chosen style by modifying parameters such as Curve Type, Thickness, Frequency, Interpolation, Speed, and Direction.
- Finally, you can enable the options Random Opacity, Random Thickness, Random Frequency, and Random Speed to ensure that these parameters vary randomly for each line in the animation.
- All changes are displayed in the Preview area. Experiment freely with all the available styles and settings, and once satisfied, confirm by clicking OK.
#tip - Alternatives. In addition to the Waves Separator Object, you can also use the Simple Separator, Separator, and Shape Separator objects: the first helps manage spacing between two contents, the second allows for the creation of a static linear graphic element, and the third lets you create customized separators using dynamic shapes and curved lines. Remember that you can always manage spacing using the ‘Margin and Alignment’ window accessible via thebutton in the Toolbar above the Page Layout Grid. It is not recommended to insert empty Rows or Cells to adjust object alignment.
